Steinway Duo-Art-Pianola
The cabinet is refinished in ebony with nine coats of laquer, hand rubbed to a lustrous finish.
The piano's action includes new hammers and dampers, with action parts repaired and finely regulated.
The reproducing player system has all new pnuematics and bellows recovered with the highest grade of
pnuematic cloth of appropriate weight. The sounding board was also repaired and refinished,
with the harp regilded, lettered and repinned.
The restoration process also included restringing the instrument, replacing all leather products, and
replacing all neoprene rubber hoses and tubing. All metal parts have been replated or polished.
