Nickleodeons have given way to juke-boxes, but on occasion, a business calls for nostalgia or something unique. For these occasions, a custom-built nickelodeon is "just the ticket." Roger has, for some years, offered the occasional custom-crafted Nickelodeon.

The Nickleodeons are crafted with the same care and attention-to-detail that characterizes his restorations. Roger begins with a brand-new of restored older player piano. He works his way through the instrument, adjusting or replacing as needed, each part until the piano meets his exacting standards. He then commissions a custom-built cabinet through a Cabinet Master-Craftsman. Into this Roger installs the instruments as selected by the client.

Carefully, Roger designs a Nickleodeons instrument suited to the client's order. He then acquires or fabricates the necessary parts and installs them. Once the Nickleodeons is assembled and working properly, Roger adds the finishing touches. He orders leaded-glass panels which are customized for his clients and installs them into the piano case.

The Nickleodeons play rolls of multiple tunes, auto rewind, and are lit to show the instruments inside. A quarter will play a tune, complete with glockenspiel, xylophone, organ pipes, bass drum, snare drum, tambourine, wood block or castanets as ordered by the client.
