Restoration and Customization Services
Pedals Pumpers& Rolls has provided complete and authentic restorations for more than forty years. In most cases, the restorable instruments Roger has worked on are best served by a complete and painstaking restoration to original condition. The workmanship and materials used in constructing upright and grand player pianos in the 1890 to 1930 era are just not available in building today's pianos, and most older instruments can be restored to as new appearance and playability for less money than purchasing a new instrument of lesser quality.
Other instruments, such as nickelodeons and orchestrions are simply not made today, and Roger will modify old or new player pianos (or add to simpler antique nickelodeons) additional instruments and percussion devices to replicate these past instruments.

Since Roger is also a collector of these instruments, you may be able to view a sample in person by a tour of the collection, or a video or audio tape of a similar instrument. Also, over the last forty years, many similar creations have gone into customer's homes and references are available upon request.
